We’ll do it quickly and comfortably in our own aircraft, also taking in the spectacular sight of Lake Eyre. Wet or dry, Lake Eyre is an unbelievable sight. With it’s seemingly endless salt crystals and dreamlike pink and orange hues, this natural wonder justifies a trip to the Outback.
UPDATES ON WATER LEVELS OF LAKE EYRE:
The 2025 flood at Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre is shaping up to be the most significant since 1974. This year’s flooding is particularly noteworthy due to record-breaking rainfall in Queensland during March, leading to extensive flooding in river systems like the Cooper Creek and Diamantina River . These floodwaters are now making their way into Lake Eyre, cand the current influx of water is expected to result in the deepest levels observed in at least 15 years .
This tour offers a rare opportunity to witness Lake Eyre at its most spectacular, transformed into a shimmering inland sea teeming with life!
