Today you visit the historic Rippon Lea, a beautiful Victorian mansion set in 14 acres of gardens in inner city Melbourne. Starting with a garden tour followed by free time to enjoy a mansion tour if you wish. Heading back into the centre of Melbourne, enjoy a leisurely lunch (own expense) at the Melbourne Botanical Gardens, then tour the gardens in an open-air bus. Arriving back at our hotel around 4pm, the evening is at your leisure.culture and spirit of Australia.

Today you travel to the beautiful Dandenong Ranges to visit the spectacular Cloudehill Gardens with a guided tour of the gardens before enjoying a wonderful lunch in their Seasons Restaurant. After lunch, tour the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden with extra time to take a self-guided tour with map or simply sit and soak up the stunning gardens. Returning to your hotel around 5pm, tonight is at your leisure.

This morning you will tour the magnificent Alister Clark Memorial Rose Garden, our visit includes a guided tour. This afternoon is free to soak up the Spring Carnival atmosphere of Melbourne, shop or perhaps prepare for tonight’s exclusive Melbourne Cup Eve dinner held at Crown Casino. The evening includes live entertainment, a wonderful meal, and interviews with racing personalities. Tonight, will be an evening to remember in preparation for Australia’s greatest race meeting.

Transfer to Flemington Racecourse to bask in the excitement and atmosphere of Australia’s richest and most famous race day of the year from your Reserved Hillstand seat. The Lexus Melbourne Cup is a truly spectacular event to witness in person, each year creating a new legend and bringing the entire country to a standstill.
